Kaminari Connect is a communication platform that takes the long view. While most messaging apps are built to ship and iterate, Connect was built to carry weight. It's a foundation designed to hold not just conversations but an identity that persists across every service that follows it. The platform runs on self-hosted infrastructure spanning more than fifteen services, giving users messaging, voice, video, communities, and file sharing without depending on third parties that can change their terms or disappear. Three earlier versions informed the one that exists today, each one teaching a lesson about sustainability, ownership, and restraint. Kaminari is built and maintained from Istanbul by founder Yıldıray Koçak. It is the first floor of many.
